Cigarra evolves from the Cicada with added stability and torque resistance. Designed in collaboration with Anthony Barela, this disc gives players more power and confidence while maintaining control. It offers a slightly higher speed and a more pronounced fade than the Cicada, allowing you to attack fairways aggressively without fear of turn. The Cigarra’s rim is still comfortable but feels a bit more substantial, making it suitable for backhand drives and powerful forehand throws. It excels at long hyzer lines, flex shots that need to fight back and windy fairway plays. Advanced players will appreciate its ability to handle power while retaining predictable fade, while intermediate throwers will find it a stable workhorse as their game progresses. Use the Cigarra to bridge the gap between your straight fairway driver and overstable control driver.
ESP
Premium plastic with excellent grip and long-lasting durability. ESP is one of Discraft’s most popular premium plastics, known for its excellent balance of grip and durability. The slightly tacky surface provides a confident feel in the hand while the durable blend resists wear and maintains consistent flight characteristics over time. ESP performs reliably across a wide range of temperatures and is widely used for drivers, midranges, and putters.
Z Line
Maximum durability with consistent, long-lasting flight performance. Z Line is Discraft’s most durable and consistent premium plastic. This semi-translucent blend is firm, extremely wear-resistant, and designed to maintain its original flight characteristics for a long time. Players rely on Z plastic for its dependable stability, clean release, and ability to perform consistently in a wide range of weather conditions.
